Don't get too excited, he was a walk-on at Miami.  One rating site had him ranked 3 slots below Chris Oladokun in state of Florida QB's coming out of high school.  Always room for improvement, I guess.

Apparently Jahquez Evans had ankle surgery in June and isn't expected to see the depth chart this season, so DeBiase gives us some much needed depth this season. Next season will be an interesting quarterback battle for sure.

He was a starter at a JUCO last season before getting injured. Numbers weren't that impressive. Good to have some depth I guess.
