pj looked like a freshman

that is being generous....

PJ tries hard but just doesn't play winning football often enough to be a starting QB on a team with bowl game aspirations.

game was over after the first play....PJ made a good pass and Amari dropped it. That set the tone for the rest of the evening...

I think the shock of a catchable pass surprised Amari.

It's the tampax uniforms. 0-2 while wearing white on white. Bring back the green pants!

Kyle,

I SO thought that before the game. We never play well in those whites.

Hey, WE STILL BEAT THE SPREAD BABY!

(1) Our offense's mistakes gave them the game.

(2) They let us have a touchdown.

(3) The experience was worthwhile, the team will play better because of it.

(4) There is no run up the middle with Miami.

(5) Traffic on I-95 North sucks. That and there needs to be a 100MPH speed limit on the turnpike north.

Smazza- Miami IS beatable because FSU beat them in the first game of the season....they have 1 loss to their record and nearly lost another to Clemson

Hey!  Faza's on here now.  Welcome aboard (even if its a new handle).

I like the white on white.

We have no passing game, and miami has a good defensive coordinator.  Uh oh.....

That pretty sums it up.

The canes are a good football team but thats all. They have speed and know how to take advantage of mistakes. We have speed and know how to make mistakes for other teams to take advantage of. The equals a loss for us. We lost to a team that we can play with.

what is interesting is how extremely small the advantage needs to be for another team to be able to beat you on talent alone.

I was not impressed by Miami's coaching or play calling. They simply threw some athletes out there and out played us.

Maybe we were a little more nervous-- I don't know. It's not like a lot of our guys haven't played against these same guys in high school.

to me it seemed like Miami was pumped up hearing about how we beat l'ville and were gonna show them we are in the same league as them. I read things such as Denson telling Miami players he was going to run for 40 yards a carry on them....what in the world was he thinking. Seems like we provided Miami that extra motivation we were provided before the l'ville game (them being our role model).

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
