One of the best things about making your own beer, aside from drinking it, is that you get to make up names for your products. The day after I returned from the Penn State game, I made a batch of porter, which for you Bud-swilling so-called beer drinkers is a dark British ale. Well, I kegged it earlier this week, and just tapped it. I have dubbed it Plucked Porter in honor of USF's incredible performance on the field last week. I didn't do a hydrometer reading when I started the primary. I'll tell you this, it came out stronger than I intended. I had a buzz off 2 pints before I went to watch the game last night. Betcha it was at least a 5.8 then. Homebrew is always the best!!! The best thing is, is that you almost never get a hangover. It's all natural, just like taking vitamins. ;D

They've got an awesome hefeweizen that has a tremendous banana/clove essence to it. The guy that's usually behind the bar is Dean, and is a pretty good guy once you get to know him. Good food too! Guest
See... and I thought this thread was going to be about how Paul Porter won't be doing Bull games anymore... Oh well, at least we don't have to listen to Al Keck this season!! :-)
