My prediction 1 - 11 with the win being against Wisc.  Then the team gets over confident and reverse runs the table.

I think not only is that an awesome idea, but make it an annual thread.

I brought it up a couple years ago, and was told to make my prediction my signature

So we holding people accountable for their prediction? The only accountability is if there is $ involved. Most everyone has this team at 7 or 8 wins. Yes, there are a few extremes on the high and low ends but we needs these people for the conversation.

You are the one who told me to use it as my signature, which I thought was a great idea, and I did that. I said that we'd lose at least 3 games (we lost two), and that UCF and Memphis would be in the title game, which they were. I made that call two games into the season though....after seeing the San Jose State and Elon (I think).

No worries...the more I think about it, it’s actually not a bad idea for those who are making predictions on the extreme side.

For the record...7-5

I have no idea which 7 are wins and which 5 are losses.  CCS just seems like a 7-5 coach to me.

You would think Strong would have known not to bring those guys with him from Austin (Iforget if Cogdill was at UT with him, but I know Gilbert and Mattox were).  That is on him. Strong knew what he was getting with those guys.

The buck always stops at the top and the guys that were doing the more toxic stuff were not with him at Texas.   Gilbert and Mattox were just arrogant idiots who thought this job was beneath them and did their own thing and barely recruited.   They saw how much this job was "beneath them" when they tried to find their own way out.

It's like night and day with the recruiting that the new coaches have been doing. Steve Ellis dam(n) near came in with recruits.
