Of the top teams in the BE, we are all good enough to beat up on each other- yet not quite good enough to beat any of the upper echelon teams in the country. WVU is really good and is going to give us real problems- but they seem signifigantly overmatched vs. VTech. The advantage is that the top 3 BE teams, WVU, UL, and USF, all have really young teams with lots of talented underclassmen. 2006: Revenge of the BE

Next year will be a much better year for the Big East. Remember, the top three teams left, while the replacements (us included)have potential, but have never been national title contenders. The teams that rise to the top will be able to recruit and eventual become powers. I say give the BE two years.

This conference is going to be our vehicle to the upper echelon.
