When we were in Conference  USA it was markedly better than the AAC is, I am not comparing the AAC simply to the BEAST but to our entire history of conferences and unfortunately it doesn’t measure up. I would not like it on a boat I would not like it in a moat I do not like the AAC and wish that it could let us be.

C'mon man. You could have finished that off by working in that you are GOAT.

Doesn't measure up?? What other conference did we share with a national champion?

What’s the only conference we have ever been in that’s made up entirely of people left behind in conference realignment? That the others were selected while these were available but were not selected makes them by definition better. When the Big12 put on their dog and pony show the entire conference was there preforming tricks at their command, why? Because there is nothing we can do that’s more degrading than developing this conference.

And the fact that we weren't selected indicates that we're right where we're supposed to be ..... whether we like it or not.

So I take it you're not closely following bry's mythical thread .....?

It’s the one oversight in the everyone landing where they belong idea, everything has a margin of error and unfortunately we are currently that margin. To date we have done nothing more degrading but you are right I should have more faith in our ability to make the wrong decisions for athletics pretty much every opportunity we get.

Totally agree. Turning down that P5 invite was one of the worst decisions Athletics has ever made.
