Report: Uconn leaving for Big East

My opinion, the only reason to expand at this point is if you can get BYU to commit, or possibly one of the top MVC teams like Boise.  Nobody else really makes sense in raising the profile of our conference - Not Army, certainly not some of the lower level teams people have throwing around like UAB or Appalachian State.  Come on now, that does nothing.

AAC > MWC. Money dictates your status in life and in college football.

Yes, we are upper middle class, but we aren't rich.

Here’s the real question - would you rather be a USF fan or a UConn fan right now?

A trick question, I would rather be hit by a truck instead.

USF. Our football program has a home and our basketball league is fine.

We still have Publix and a bad ass sailing team. Suck it, UConn.

I've never met a UCONN fan who cares about college football.

Hey... he said he's not looking locked into the north east... I think we're done there.  BYU just makes since to me.

and I could watch American games at normal times.

Compared to the rest of the country, the north east does not care much about college football.  Bunch of patriots fans.  Who needs em.
