He didn't have any answers to any logical questions. There was no reason to put this out there midseason. I'm telling you, this has Major League written all over it. Just waiting for Roger Dorn to take over at 3rd Base Stu is an astute business man, but he certainly is terrible at Client Relations. It will be interesting to see how things finally turn out. The Rays future is as clear as mud. Its like a messed up soap opera. Their new slogan could be "Like sands through the hour glass, so are the Days of our Rays"! I tought it was going to be the "ex-rays". It doesnt matter anyway this plan will never work. It is either the first step to move this team away completely or one of their last ditch efforts to get Tampa Bay to build them a billion dollar stadium. It becomes more of a destination beyond baseball. There were many people at Citizen's Bank Park and at Camden Yards that didn't seem all that interested in the baseball game. True, the community as a whole would have to pay for something that many would not use, but as Trip points out that applies to many things throughout the community already. As I said, I won't lose sleep either way, but the Rays are getting a new stadium sometime in the coming years either here or Montreal or Charlotte, Vegas, Portland, etc. I agree with you. It is just not about baseball, it is about bringing in more jobs and tourist money to the city. A lot of baseball stadiums host concerts and some host Bowl games. Hopefully Rays get new stadium in Tampa
