Went back and actually read the gousfbulls.com article about this and was a little saddened to see this, "The Bulls have scheduled 17 non-conference games vs. Power 6 opponents over the next 10 seasons." I guess I just haven't been paying attention but didn't realize we were drinking that Kool-Aid ....

If we only sell 2,000 extra tickets because of the opponent versus a standard FCS game, we likely do better than break even. The last few seasons we have averaged around 32,000 or so for the FCS games. If we can reach 40,000 on average for these games, we will be looking at about $200,000 or so in additional revenue. Absolutely a no-brainer. 

Fiscally it is better for us to play one and done games away because we do not have the fan base. And it's a higher profile game.

Brilliant marketing strategy.  Don't put the names of the teams on the schedule, just the logos.
