Not many are crying that the staff are getting kids from south Ga.. The qb room is going to be tough. If Smith can't win the job he can probably play another position. I will say this, with 4 QBs on the roster for 2020, we won't have a lot of experience and I hope McCloud gets 25 snaps on average per game this year. Battle really needed to stay one more year.

I like his film and runs well. More of a dual than a pocket. All state selection from a football state. He will get more attention, last year was his first year starting.

I was an All-State baseball player from FL. I can assure you, it doesn't mean ****.

Kid is tall and has a very quick release.  I actually like him, he stands high in the pocket and has a great delivery.  Has good arm strength and he was timed in camp at a 4.7, so he has just enough to be mobile and make plays with his feet.  He'll get more offers, but I like him.  So 1 dual and 1 pocket passer (sorta he's mobile) in this class.  Nice..

USF's surge of recruiting momentum continued Tuesday when Valdosta (Ga.) High quarterback Tate Rodemaker announced via Twitter he intends to sign with the Bulls.

A three-star prospect (per Rivals) and the son of Valdosta coach Alan Rodemaker, he becomes USF’s second quarterback commitment from the Class of 2020, and the seventh player to give his pledge to USF since Saturday.
