I like the 7 game series myself, let everyone throw all their pitchers out there, and get the Aces together 3 times.

It prevents flukes from happening.

what makes the wildcard awkward as well is when the #1 and #4 seed come from the same division... then #1 plays #3 and #2 gets #4.

#1 gets penalized for beating #4 in their own division by playing a seed that actually has a better record.
