Remaining players in the transfer portal available

Now that we have padded our schedule for the next 7 years. It’s time to start being just as aggressive in the transfer portal. This will give our current players some time to get better or even red-shirt.  I have made a list of players we should look at. The players at the top pare all eligible immediately. I didn’t list any offensive players besides a few offensive linemen b/c I think we are currently stacked offensively.

Ja'Merez Bowen, DT,6-4 / 310 – Immediate, Indiana (Highly rated 3 star)

Darius Slade, SDE, 6-4 / 255, (3 star that played well at ASU and is eligible immediately)

Nick Harvey, CB, 5-10 / 185, South Carolina, (4 star in high school and is eligible immediately)

Landon Dickerson, OT, 6-5 / 310, Florida State (4 star in high school and is eligible immediately)

Briston Guidry, DT, 6-2 / 290 – (Sit a year), Arkansas (4 star in high school)

Billy Ferrell, DT, 6-3 / 331 – Arkansas (Highly rated 3 star)

Ron Tatum, SDE, 6-4.5 / 269 – Oklahoma (4-star JUCO with 3 years left)

Malik Langham, SDE, 6-5.5 / 269 - Florida (Highly rated 3 star)

Ron Johnson, WDE, 6-4 / 267, Michigan (4 star in high school)

Richard McBryde, OLB, 6-1 / 227, Auburn (4 star in high school)

Cameron Townsend, OLB, 6-0 / 204, Texas (4 star in high school)

Shaq Smith, ILB, 6-2 / 240, Clemson (4 star in high school)

Larry Boyd, OT, 6-5 / 310, Illinois (4-star transfer)

Reuben Unije, OT, 6-5 / 303, Illinois (Highly rated 3 star)

That is a nice list indeed... just how many are interested in us is what counts.

How many in the portal are from the area or Florida as a whole?  Those are the ones we have the best shot at

I emailed this list to the coaches and Steve Ellis actually replied lol He said thanks for the list. It's funny b/c i only listed one defensive back.

He said "Thank you for the list". I emailed all of the defensive coaches in that one email.
