Wisconsin, Aug. 30 at South Florida — If Wisconsin decides to ride with true freshman Graham Mertz, then this will not be an easy debut on the road in oppressive heat. USF was a bowl team last year and won 10 games in Charlie Strong’s first season in charge. Regardless of quarterback, this is not an easy road trip to start the season.

I don’t think it will matter who their QB is.... UW is going to try and run it down our throats with their corn fed OL v our undersized defense. That is what they try to do against all FL schools.

In 2014 they ran the ball on us 57 times vs. 18 pass attempts and held the time of possession for over 40 minutes.

Luckily we have always done a great job of jamming the line and stopping power football...

Almost made me spit up my bourbon.  You're too funny.

I could care less what their offense does. We will get enough stops. The key to the game will be OUR offense. Has KB emphasized our speed in putting playmakers in the open field? If the answer is yes, then we might very well steal this one.

Don’t spit up your bourbon, I find the more people drink the more entertaining or at least tolerable I become.

Wonder if we ever considered running a power I offense?

Boring offense but effective for many Big10 schools.

This is definately a game of different styles.  Hopefully we will be vastly improved considering we barely beat lowly Illinois last year.
