Augh was hoping night game. Was gonna leave Friday after work. Stay in Macon then get to ATL Early Sat.    Looks like I need to book a flight now as I don’t want to take a day off work

Just booked mine.

Game Tickets will be going on sale soon . . .

Now to get a hotel ... may be going to an off broadway show(girls dictate some)

Are you getting tickets on line (there will be plenty available) or through USF? I am thinking about online tickets for this one as they could be relatively cheap.

I'll get tix through USF.

Booked at GaTech Hotel & Convention Center and go to the Aquarium instead of a show.

STAMPEDE !!!

In the past I have gone the stubhub route to buy tickets to save some cash. Now I have started just paying for Season tixs, and was going to buy my away tixs through the university. We are going to Navy. Does USF make money if I buy my tickets through them? I am a big guy and always want to buy a seat on the aisle as it is more comfortable for me and the people sitting next to me. The USF ticket office says that can not accommodate that request. Guess its back to Stubhub for Away and Bowl games for me.

My understanding that for away games USF make a small amount (postage?) when buying through the athletic department. Thus, I don't think it is a big deal to go through stub hub. However, for bowls, it is different as they are actually heads to gauge school impact (which future bowls may see and consider). Bowl payout is already predetermined regardless of how many people are there.

ok that makes me feel better, I'll prob just grab these on Stubhub. Bonus is they are about half the price.

I'll probably be doing the same for Navy too. I am also at Uconn and have never bought from USF for that game as those tickets can be had for $10 (and then I move over to the small USF section). For the GT game I will probably just go ahead and buy from USF since I getting 4 tickets.

Why? In terms of away games if I can save a significant buck I will as USF makes a few $ a ticket at best. In terms of bowl games I agree...always buy through USF.
