Main issue is kickoff coverage its burned us in several games in past years...letting teams start at 40 yard line.

It is but colleges do not practice special-teams during the spring due to the potential of injuries. I do recall that we signed one new kicker as we walk on who will start in the fall

Interesting - about them not practicing special teams in the Spring.......I was not aware of that.   Hope this new Kicker is a good one.  So many important games have come down to 3 points or less.
