CBM has to figure something out. A last place finish could be trouble for his job security.

It should be written into every coach's contract that they forfeit their job immediately with a last-place finish in the conference. Should NEVER happen at USF and DEFINITELY not in friggin baseball in Florida!

There is an asterisk for coaches launching a brand new program - for one year.

You are absolutely right when it comes to baseball. Injuries or not this is a total **** show.

Again, not to really defend Mohl, but he's dealing with what was left from the Kingston era recruiting wise and there really doesn't appear to be much there.   We're probably a little worse than we should be in the conference, but add the couple injured players to the mix and Dutka to the line up and we may be closer to .500 (4-5 or 5-4)  which is where we probably should be talent wise right now.

Of course, losing a home series to Cincinnati is not a good look no matter what

Rough year for the Basebulls, im not going to pile on anymore.  It is what it is....our only hope this Spring is Softball.  They seem to be improving as the year goes on.
