I think we have a legitimate shot at keeping CBG. The AAC is not a 3rd world basketball conference and there are some really good coaches in this league.......unless we do something crazy like getting in the top 20 and making an NCAA run.

Like ET said, that check book falls primarily on the fans .... What does fall squarely on USF Athletics is finding what buttons to push, if there are any, to get the students out in force on a regular basis.

I'm not really disagreeing with you overall.  I'm just saying that the number of zeros on the check matters more than the number of butts in the seats.   Even if there is some correlation between the two

IIRC the Athletic Director offered Masiello the job before the search company completed their process. Someone told me that if Harlan had waited two more days he would have learned that he could not offer Masiello the job.
