Is there any coach in the AAC that has done a better job with what they have to work with than both Fernandez and Gregory?

Agree. Not sure either will win (Houston and Cincinnati on the men's side ..... UConn and UCF on the women's side have compelling arguments too).

Coach Fernandez won last year.

Both have done amazing jobs in different circumstances and both teams should be better next year!

I suspect Hou coach will get a strong look. They are an elite 8 team and that might be greater than what BG did.

The answer to that question is no.

Coach Gregory has rebuilt the program much quicker than anyone expected, but it's going to be hard to convince voters based on what Sampson has done.

Honestly, Coach Fernandez deserves to repeat as AAC Coach of the Year for what he has done and how well he has handled the injury situation to so many key players.
