Not sure either will win (Houston and Cincinnati on the men's side ..... UConn and UCF on the women's side have compelling arguments too). Coach Fernandez won last year. The answer to that question is no. Coach Gregory has rebuilt the program much quicker than anyone expected, but it's going to be hard to convince voters based on what Sampson has done. Honestly, Coach Fernandez deserves to repeat as AAC Coach of the Year for what he has done and how well he has handled the injury situation to so many key players.
