If, and its a big IF, USF admin decided to pony up the 50k to go to the CBI tourney, this is how I see it at this exact moment in time.

they better pay the 50 Grand. The team deserves a post season. It would help us build towards next year.

Plus hopefully we get a 2 seed and host a game.

A major conference team has not accepted an invite since 2015 (Colorado played in that tournament with a losing overall record). I would be surprised if Pitt, BC, UCLA, USC, and Missouri all accepted an invite. In fact, it would be a shock if any of them did. In years past the P5 programs invited have declined the invitation. 

I think it is a no-brainer that USF would accept the invitation if one were presented to us. I just want this team to get some postseason experience prior to the start of next year. If Durr, Kiir, and Yetna continue to progress, we will be a force to reckon with and should challenge for a NCAA tournament bid, dependent of course upon our OOC slate.

I think you are correct. Which means we need Uconn, Tulane, SMU, and 1 in the tourney. I would trade ucf for Uconn (since it is away) if I could as that would be a major win.

Definitely, any win over the Knats is a GOOD win!

We really need to win 3 out of the next 4 for a NIT bid. Its a long shpt but we could win the conference tourney if all the cards fall into place which puts us into the big dance.

Just beat ucf on Wednesday night, that is all I care about at the moment.  I don't know if you guys have checked out the overall War on I-4 score lately but it is quite embarrassing.

That's asking a lot from this young team, especially since a top 4 and a 1st round bye is unlikely (that's where the Temple losses really hurt).  Although stranger things have happened - there was a Miracle on Ice back in 1980.
