Anyone interested in a fantasy baseball league for TBP

Put me in the 50/50 column. I'd be for it on one condition... I can't get myself into fantasy baseball with the changing lineups every single day for the entire season. If you're running a league where you set lineups weekly, or you get x amount of starts from each position, I'm in. I played in a league years ago where you got 162 starts from SP. So you could start whoever on your roster whenever you wanted, but then it counted as a "start" against your 162 total if he got the ball. I liked that. Then if you have a catcher spot that gets 162 starts, you don't get screwed if your guy takes a day off and you're not checking the lineups every single day. You can just start multiple catchers the next day to make up the missed one and you're good to go. You could theoretically start 2 catchers every day for the first half of the season, but when you reached 162 total, you can't get any more points from that position. It made it a little easier to not have to worry about a random day off from a player dinging you.

I understand what you are saying, I'm just not very versed in setting up leagues. Just quickly looking at yahoo, it seems that you can set your roster to only be updated weekly but I don't think that pertains to the lineup and I don't see any max start limits for pitchers or positions players. You can set max weekly pickups and trade but again, I don't think that pertains to lineup adjustments

Edit: all of that pertains to head to head play, If we have a rotisserie league (where everyone plays everyone) then we can set max starts for PP and max innings for P, but it doesn't really say anything about weather or not you can play two players from the same position.

edit #2: you cold utilize the utility position to make up for lost starts.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
