That’s what I was thinking. It does look like ECU will be thevteam to beat though as I have followed a couple of services saying the same. College baseball is the longest grind out of all of the sports IMO...let’s see how it plays out.

ECU will be very good. They will also have the best player in the conference. It could be a little biased, but I am not sold on UCF, although I have a lot of respect for Lovelady.

Let 'em pick however they want. It makes sense, Mclanahan, Stryzlecki, Montes, Villar, huge shoes to fill by jucos and fr. If Mr. K cant learn to hit we may not make the NCAA tourney. I always wondered why they dont have a sub tourney, like the NIT/CBI in basketball

Its like any preseason polls, how can anybody really know until half way through the season.  Teams change rosters, coaches, cultures, etc.  Unless a team has a mostly veteran team returning, how can anybody predict what is going to transpire from year to year.  

So far this very early season Bulls addition is all positive.  We have another huge test of tough games in the next week, so will quickly learn more.  But even if we do poorly in the immediate stretch we could end up with a very good season.  From the early returns, it seems that we are pretty talented.

Still need to find a Saturday and Sunday starter.  I'm not sold on us making the tourney either, yet.  We have a lot of games to earn our way in.  That's the only way we get in, gotta earn it.  For what its worth nobody is in the tourney yet...its not even March
