Hi Guest,

Just a note to point out our TBP-initiated drive to raise funds for the Bulls Football IPF - doing our share, and more.  Please consider donating at least $23 to the effort, and passing on to others as well.  You can read more about the project at the link above.

I've seen this several times recently. Did they go back and gives us 2 losses for the Gasparilla Bowl due to its horridness?

If they did, they might want to give us 3 losses for that Tulane game....

CCS got rid of a handful of players

He did this at Texas, and had a top 10 recruiting class in 2015, and they went 6-7, 5-7, & 5-7 in his three years there, so this won't necessarily mean more wins. What needs to change is Charlie walking up to the podium for each and every post-game presser and informing everybody that the team wasn't prepared.

We have also added a lot of new talent and I am excited about 2019.

On paper, this recruiting class is pretty typical for us. Our success hinges on Bell, and what he's able to do with the offense. The talent level probably won't be much different than it has been in recent years, Charlie is Charlie....it really comes down to what Bell is able to do IMO.

Yes. 41-15 loss. It was largely mistaken for a Globetrotters game

My thoughts exactly.  Charlie is Charlie and he ain't going to change.

Pretty sure people on here said the same thing after the 1st loss, the 2nd loss, the 3rd loss, etc.  The don't need to be pissed off. They need to be prepared and well coached.

Agreed but a little fire in the belly never hurts.

In the meantime, Strong is encouraged by the progress the program is making in the weight room under veteran strength and conditioning coach Pat Moorer.

"They're doing well right now in the winter conditioning program with the way we're lifting and guys going about their business," Strong said. "Guys are putting on weight. We need to get bigger."

The revamped offense will have no cupcake to beat up on early this year.  Guess we will see if BELL will deliver early?

Obviously Wisconsin and BYU are upgrades over UMASS and Illini but...

Honestly not a fan of the schedule especially the first 2/3 of it. Other than drawing UCONN before the cold sets in. A very early bye week right after a glorified bye week. A tricky non-conference game sandwiched between 3 conference road games. What is likely cross division 1A or 1B right before Cent Florida.

Very little opportunity to recover from the nagging injuries. Hopefully this can be offset by not having to leave Florida in the month of November.

At the end of the day hopefully the new OC has the offense humming day 1. I'm worried about bowl eligibility if they come out of the gates 3-3 (or worse :( ). 5-1 or 6-0 and the NY6 dreams get started :)
