Football Signing Day Be Prepared.....

Recommended Posts

Well it’s NSD and like the thread read, it’s sucks. Saw on 247 we are looking at two recruits with both of their crystal ball’s going elsewhere. How big of a kick in the nuts would it be perceived if we had zero recruits on NSD? Tell u what. If that happens our perception will be don’t come here USF and Coach are a sinking ship.

National Signing Day has "unofficially" moved to December for many schools, including ours. Don't sweat it.

In my opinion, college football is a young mans job these days. Coach doesn’t like to work. He is living on past laurels and has done NOTHING except lose 6 straight and kick off a whole bunch of talent. How much more can we take Bulls fans? Another presser to tell us we’re not that good? Phuck Chuck.

CJL would have never let it get this bad.  CCS is CSH 2.0

We signed 19 recruits on the 1st day. And It's safe to assume they are going to work the transfer market. Im happy with who we got.

He is a WR. We need LB,DL, OL, and DB recruits and depth in that order in my opinion. I thought our WR and RB depth and players were our only strength to be honest.

He's a non-football scholarship preferred walk on.   Settle down

So we're supposed to sign kids just to sign them never mind the talent level?  With our scholarship situation we are not in a position to take kids just to have numbers to keep up appearances to please fans.   We have a top 3 class in the conference coming off an extremely disappointing season and we signed all of our key kids in December.     Good thing we did too because after the second year with the December early signing period it's quite clear that you better get the majority of your class signed in December because there is very little out there after and the mid to low level P5 schools move right in and poach at the best kids the G5 schools are still recruiting.   Logan was a luxury and kids like him grow on trees in FL.  Linton would have been a very good get but we have recruited edge guys pretty well the last couple of cycles so it doesn't sting that bad.   Also, he's a kid that's going to need 2-3 years to get bigger before he can play at this level.   Expect us to look to try to find some quality transfers to address immediate needs that weren't going to be addressed with high school recruits any ways.

The recruiting of CCS has been a disappointment so far. No reason that we shouldn't have a top class in the conference year in and year out.

We only signed 19 kids and we're 3rd or 4th in the conference depending on which service you prefer....   #DemandExcellence I guess
