What about Lucky’s? If it wasn’t for thebullspen I would probably be politely indifferent towards Publix. For some reason Publix is the most celebrated thing on the board beyond even USF and while topics that marginally venture off topic are moved Publix idiocy is championed. Publix is okay and it makes no attempts to be exceptional at anything but you would be hard pressed to tell that from reading this board.

Love my Publix here in Seminole Heights and, based on numerous polls, America loves their local Publix just as much. I’m sorry you’ve been so unlucky.

By many measures McDonald’s is the most popular restaurant on earth, I don’t consider them great. Publix probably isn’t targeting me as a customer, which I am perfectly fine with, but there are objective measurements that Publix no longer passes muster on. The average associate there doesn’t seem particularly happy to be there and they do not seem customer oriented, I would guess there employee loyalty surveys are tanking and I would guess it probably has to do with them underpaying and relying on stock based incentives that are no longer as lucrative as they were. Do you honestly find Publix associated particularly helpful and happy? You really don’t have issues dodging the stockers that clog the aisles and have no desire to move? And you really don’t have the cashiers more interested in talking to other staff members than checking you out? Or does this stuff just not bother you?

Sure. The 7 states Publix is in are all in the South.

I was going to say the same for Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, etc. The target demographic is white douche bag.

As a white douche bag I am pretty sure Maroon 5 is not trying to appeal to me and if they are they are failing miserably.
