When does it start?

What do you expect to see from returning players?

What new players have your attention?

Do you think a full staff shakeup can get a conference championship this year?

Some time in the spring.

Familiar faces.

Urm, do we have a Kicker?

There's always next year.

This seems solid and needs no elaboration from anyone else.

Dude. You're going to ruin the "official" thread with this rubbish. Shame on you.

This is what we need to remember and get Better!

Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl

Marshall 38, South Florida 20

USF made a bit of history, and not in a good way, in its loss to Marshall. The Bulls are the first team to finish 7-6 after starting 7-0. Not even playing on their home field served as much of an advantage, as the same issues that plagued the Bulls during their slump in the second half of the season plagued them again. That starts with inconsistency at quarterback, and interim playcaller Justin Burke could not fix it. Marshall, which came into the game known more for its defense, racked up nearly 300 yards of offense in the first half alone as it took control of the game early. The Herd were particularly effective running the ball, gaining over 220 yards on the ground with five rushing touchdowns. Coach Doc Holliday is now an impressive 6-0 in bowl games at Marshall. -- Andrea Adelson

Pretty sure everyone just wants to discuss the meat up, or at least that's what the last thread showed us.

I think all eyes will be on the offense and seeing if they look like they know what they are doing in an entirely new offense. Will the qb's be making the right reads or locking onto their receivers? Do the receivers line up quickly or are they shifting around trying to find the right spot in the formation? Does the offensive line grasp the presumably new blocking scheme or is the defensive line running straight through them?

It's hard to tell much about the defense aside from how fast they are and possibly blown coverages since spring games normally prohibit blitzes and many stunts.

I cant wait to see Laing, Waller, and Leacock finally play. My favorite recruit so far is Tyrik Jones. If we are magically able to land Samuel Okuayinonu  then he shall be my favorite recruit. Darius Williams and Demaurez Bellamy are 2 hard hitting linebackers that should get some playing time this year.

On offense, it's all about McDoom baby!!!! Kelly Joiner is another recruit I feel is too fast to redshirt. Then we have Thomas muthaf****in Nance! If they keep him at TE, we have a blocker with great hands, speed and a playmaker. If they switch him to DE, then we have a pass rushing beast. This guy is probably one of our top 3 impact players in this class. We may not have the top ranked  class, but I think this class will overacheive.

Hopefully CCS locks in 3 defensive gurus that can recruit to the staff and lets get ready 4 spring ball!

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
