this team has to fix this ASAP.

15 missed free throws cost this team a win at Temple & directly impacted their losses vs. GTown, Citadel & Tulsa.

Would love to know if they had these problems before coming to USF (high school or college). This may be why some of the players ended up at USF instead of Kansas type of programs because we do have some high caliber players on this team.

This team can do some great things this year, but won't be winning any close games without hitting free throws

If they hit even 50% of their free throws it’s a win today.

That being said, I have faith these guys will get this together and solve the problem before the year is out. Keep playing hard and getting to the line and good things will happen.

Don't know but  FT% is probably the last thing looked at when recruiting.  One assumes you can always turn that around in a player with other good stats and skills.  Seems to be viral with this team.

That’s a good point...I agree it would seem to be the easiest thing to improve upon

Same thought actually crossed my mind when thinking of Rideau. He was under 60% at G-W ...... but I'm still **** glad he's here.

Don't know how easy it is to fix. You can either shot them or you can't. You can work on it and get incrementally better. But Rideaux could play 10 years in the pros and never be better than 70%.

This team’s hard work and hustle is being completely undone by its free throw shooting. Free throws are mental and if this continues to persist then it will be fair to call this team mentally weak.

It's pretty much persisted the whole year so I'm kind of shocked you haven't already gone there, considering your usual MO ....
