Totally slipped my mind that this game was on in the afternoon-- only saw the last two minutes of over time. I see free throws once again killed us. Wow-- over time and a two point loss? I was so far off it is not even funny.

 This team is so much better than anyone expected in my opinion. However it goes without saying that shooting less than 50%  from the free-throw line and you will lose almost 100% of the time against good teams. It’s amazing with such a poor free-throw shooting performance that they took the game OT. It’s a testament to how good they are defensively. If they made their free throws the officials would not be an issue.  I’ve said this a lot but this team is undefeated with a better free-throw shooting percentage.

Tough loss today against a bubble tournament team in their home. The first half was ugly, but man these guys came out firing in the second half and just never let up. A few possessions away from taking this game, which IMO, they will be able to pull off with more experience next year. 

Free throws....yeah. Let’s leave it at that. The law of averages say this will turn around, and when it does the W’s will flow like water!!!

Hopefully we can split the next 2 and be 3-3 going into the rest of AAC play.  10-10 in the AAC regular season and tournament would be a dream season.
