We are at 97 NET now so its very doable.  This is the best team since the 2012 team and they need to win a couple rounds to beat that team.

That 97 was before last night’s win I believe...but I don’t know if Tulane helps or hurts.

Dont hate me for saying this. Right now, we are a mid-tier AAC team. We are young, we turn the ball over too much, we are mediocre jump shooters and poor free throw shooters. Our post players are really raw and have a long way to go offensively. We have not beaten (or really played) anybody of note, but opportunity awaits. We will out-rebounded and out-work most of our opponents, but I dont see post-season in out future unless some serious strides are made and those issues are corrected.

This team has come a long way, but still has a long way to go.

Our non-conference schedule was soft as a pillow. We knew that coming in and knew we'd do well to start the season. The odds are probably in favor for us having a three-game losing streak after the next three games. This isn't a problem and I hope the bandwagon doesn't drop off much in the next week and a half if this occurs.

For those of us who continued to watch during the COA years, these periods will be easy to ride out because of the fight that this team has in them compared to whatever we witnessed in 2014-16. Win or lose this season, let's all sit back and enjoy that we're currently ahead of schedule.

These guys battle for ever inch. Reminds me of the coaching style of another USF coach.

I am glad we had a soft early schedule. It was a brilliant move. The team got confidence and learned to play with one another.

Exactly.  CBG knew he needed that early schedule.

Things we probably can all agree upon:

1. This team is fun to watch.

2. This team plays hard.

3. This team is much improved from anything we have seen in recent times.

4. This team will finish ahead of their projection of 12th in the AAC.

5. This team is young, and should be even better next season.

Take those 5 positives, and use it to grow. I don't want fans to get discouraged if the results in conference don't equal the non-conference winning percentage. We now are coming into some tough stretches.

With all that being said, I am so overjoyed for what this team is doing and how they are doing it.

We need get 1 of the next 3 while fighting hard and we'll be okay down the stretch starting at 3-3.
