They are totally blowing any chance to go to a P5. None of those conferences want whiners and they want a school to challenge them legally.

Just saw that.

A test would be to see if they can get anyone to join them.

That is a big risk.  will be tough for them to find anything that can be proven.

*waits to hear from the people who insist USF "needs" UCF in order to be successful*

😐

this is embarrassing. USF needs to distance itself from that train wreck as much as humanly possible.

Knightnews.com  has no link, no association  to UCF in any way. Title is inaccurate in my opinion.

bad look for UCF fans & by extension the university that they humored this idiocy for an entire year.

THIS may not be directly affiliated with the university, but your campus police have "National Champions" wrapped on their cruisers & it's on a banner in your stadium.

This is a natural extension of that stupidity & sense of entitlement. people don't respect what the university or its fan base are doing & since they are both acting with similar narratives & similar motives few ppl are going to distinguish the two.

if the university really wants to separate itself from this kind of foolishness they need to publicly distance themselves from that type of behavior, including formally claiming non-existent national championships.

for the love of god please stop

Both the fan base and the school have been delusional long before declaring a "TRANS" national championship.

I think any chance at the playoffs, much less bigger things, went away the second that banner went up.

I think that's a stretch to extend it to the university.  Fans can do whatever they want.

Also, side note, investigating elitism in college football is funny.  A go fund me is not required to prove that.

Agree. You can't hold the institution responsible for something a fan site does.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
