This would be a great get for USF.  Guy has won at every level no matter if it's on or off the field and at each stop.

I read that Bell was making roughly $250k per year at JU in 2015. I'm assuming he kept the same salary or maybe a slight increase at Valdosta. Is he someone that we can realistically afford?

We once paid 350000 for Chris Cosh. So I think we can swing it.

I believe the OC (according to CCS contract) would get a little more. However, this would strictly be a career move for him. Is a D1 OC better than a D2 head coach? That is up for debate.

Absolutely. It's a move to the FBS, not FCS.

Does Bell take this job knowing CCS has got next year to turn it around or he could be looking for another job.

Good point. It is a risk. It will be how much does he want a D1 job and how fast can he make contacts in the coaching network.

Not even in the ballpark of correct. That's as bad as when people make the comment that Alabama could beat x NFL team.
