GOOD coaches can hold their players accountable without saying it at a press conference. 2. repeating "we were not prepared for the game" 5 losses in a row is pretty nonchalant. it requires a detachment from the reality that it is the COACH'S job to prepare his team. being unprepared 5 games in a row is a coach issue, or do the guys getting paid millions to be here bear no accountability according to the @Bausfkid the self-proclaimed accountability police. 3. being cordial to fans isn't the issue. publicly acknowledging his (wait for it...) ***accountability***, showing some enthusiasm-- or any kind of emotional investment-- for the program, ensuring the product on the field is worth the money students, ticket buyers, season ticket holders & donors put into the program rather than treating it as a stepping stone for the guys (like Gilbert) who were loyal to him doesn't cut it. or are u going to argue that Gilbert was a great coach & Burke the best possible replacement? 4. Feel free to share with us what inside info u have up there in Philly. who are your sources? since u apparently have inside info, or at least like to give the impression of it on the internets, go ahead & share with us who u know in the locker room. it'll be interesting to hear what inside knowledge u have GO BULLS (not the coaches, the PROGRAM) You are correct on all counts. I apologize and am thankful for you setting me straight up here in Philly.

Seems like a lot of programs are making big time hires at all levels while we continue to hire lower level coordinators. agreed. Houston just paid prime $$$ to pull Holgerson from WVU. USF may not have the money to do something similar, but bringing in a quality OC with the increase in the assistant budget rather than using the OC vacancy as just another opportunity to promote one of his guys is not an unreasonable expectation. promoting a guy like Burke with zero OC experience would be the bush league move at a time when our biggest AAC competitors are making power moves. I'm very thankful for you. At times we disagree. I'm cool with it. My struggle has always been with low education voters and we've got some on here. It could just be my "superiority" complex or my "f***ing moron" mindset from "up here in Philly". Go Bulls!

As far as administration goes we really need someone that will do whatever it takes for the athletic department to succeed while maintaining our commitment to academics. I think kelly sees what needs to be done but is being held back by our current administration. Let’s hope the new administration does whatever needs to be done and starts holding coaches accountable for their failures
