Players are supposed to choose the school and not go by the coach but very few go to school for academics. I highly doubt football players go to Alabama for a good quality education.

Alabama's football APR is 984 and USF's is 960.  Both above the bar of 930.

USF's poor academic's held us back for years.  Genshaft has changed all of that and positioned us very well academically.

Go Bulls!

Entry into a P5 conference.  Academics play a large role in conference affiliation.  Until recently we did not have the academics to compete.  It's not about winning football games.  It's about the entire package.

So where did West Virginia sit academically?

WVU football was a 950 in 2018.  Academics matter, a lot.  Ask VP of Athletics Michael Kelly next time you see him or just email him.  He will validate it.
