I don't think Miami wants a coach whose team has lost six consecutive games. They maybe would choose Manny Diaz but, of course, he is now the coach at Temple.

Strong would look great in a UM uniform ! I think they do reach out to Lane or Clemson's defensive coordinator.

If the U goes after Cristobal and brings him in, would Oregon promote Leavitt? I have been under the impression that Leavitt would probably never get another shot but something like this happening late in the coaching carousel is his best chance at getting one.
