Also, I think a bowl game is required for Kelly to justify keeping Strong around. The schedule looks like this: Wisconsin @ Georgia Tech SC State BYU @ ECU @ Navy @ UConn Cincy Memphis SMU Temple It's really hard to predict without knowing what exactly each team is gaining or losing going into 2019. Basing it off what we saw in 2018, I'd say that there are 3 solid wins (SC State, UConn, ECU), 1 probable win (Navy), and 4 toss-ups (GT, BYU, SMU & Temple). Wisconsin, Cincy, and UCF are likely losses. Not sure where Memphis fits with Henderson entering the draft. 5 is a good over/under bet.

I said 8-4 preseason this year so I was close last time. Edited December 26, 2018 by jjlovecub

I think there is a much greater chance the wheels fall off next year than going to a bowl, so give me the under. Keep in mind that this team was fortunate to be 7-5 this year and easily could have been 5-7 if not for some miraculous comeback wins, Good point. When we were 7-0, we were a very ugly and lucky 7-0. We all knew it, too. I’m going with 5 wins next year, and I hope I’m dead wrong. If we fill the holes and somehow get it together next year, I’m happy to be pleasantly surprised. Next season will be tough. I need to see roster in Spring game to change my mind. Even then we are playing against each other which is a crap shoot. We lack talent on the lines. Lack talent at linebacker. It's crazy.

Speaking of Wisconsin, their RB averaged 165 yards/game this year. Can you imagine the start he'll have at averaging 250 with playing us next year. Ooh boy.
