So...are 'the wheels coming off'?

Let's recap

-Easily beaten by cusa team in a bowl game that served as a second home finale

-First team to finish 0-6 after 7-0

-11 player purge

-4 assistants fired (plus 1 OC mercifully relocated)

This does not sound like a stable program.  It sounds an awful lot like a man who has blamed everyone else this season either

a) getting rid of the poor performers and helping improve the culture of the program going forward

b) getting rid of the players in the locker room whom he lost over the past two years and scapegoating some assistants who probably never would have taken a knee to end a half or kicked a field goal to end a half (down 3 scores)

What do you all think?

Well it’s good and bad:

bad we lost, bad we have a losing streak

Good we got rid of some bad coaches and players who can’t follow rules.

I would expect us to go 5-7 for the next couple of years with players who don't smoke weed.

I keep seeing comments talking about pot like this and @NewEnglandBull commented on players 'not following rules'...did a story come out saying players were doing this?  What'd I miss?

I never saw the story either honestly. Just going by what I've read on this board. Players can't smoke weed, and the program has absolutely zero $$$ on anything. I think Kean left the team because we couldn't afford to buy him that XXL jersey that he would have been comfortable in.

Being that we are the North Korea of college football, I'm surprised that we have any info at all on what goes on in the program. The injury reports are always vague, and aren't revealed until game time. Strong is like Kim Jung Il, both in height, and how they run things...and playing for Strong sounds like about as much fun as being in North Korea. Kim Jung Il is clearly the better golfer of the two, once hitting 18 consecutive holes in one.

Nope nothing is out there. My point was everyone seems to think it was nothing and CCS is playing favorites...which is ridiculous. I doubt we will never know the truth.
