"Cleaning house" is the only noteworthy thing he did at Texas. Shaping up to be the same here. His specialty I guess...

It's what he does best and this is USF Athletics. You know what we do at USF Athletics!

Keep calm and play to your strengths.

Sounds exactly like what Mccullum did for basketball. Took several years to put together a complete roster and several more to put a decent team in the court.

If there are legit reasons or for academic reasons then Strong is in the right. If this many guys are being suspended for minor situations or if Strong is being overly strict this program will take a long time to recover.

There is something to be said about having a young coach that can relate to the kids playing for him.

I was thinking this about Strong as well. How long exactly does a Charlie Strong rebuild take? Frost took two years to take the winless team he inherited to undefeated. I wasn't following UCF very closely, but did Frost have to kick a dozen-plus players off the team? What's with the giant purge with Charlie at every stop? Don't recall CWT having to clean house that much either...

This team didn't need a rebuild. It was fine before CCS got here.

So you're saying the team was set for 3 or 4 years when CCS got here?

Only one of the 11 was worth a **** and I did not see enough of him to know for sure (Bell).

I'm saying that we would have won the 2017 AAC championship.

What's that got to do with now. He didn't try to start rebuilding in 2017, did he?

I think we had many talented players that didn't appear to be worth a **** this year, especially on Offense. Not sure the coaching staff did these guys any favors.

He didn't need to rebuild! If he would have kept the systems in place and especially the GCO and restock on positions and even coach well then we would be in a good position right now!

I think he made his mark on the 2017 team, we just had QF to make things happen on his own
