I don’t think there is much left for Charlie to do to clean house this year. Most of these players are graduating. There are some seniors that  might still have some eligibility left, but will likely take the grad  transfer route. CCS is on his 2nd recruiting class. It’s time to see what most of these redshirted players and transfers he brought in can do. In 2020 the team will be ALL Strong’s players.  As for this list of DE’s graduating, I’m kind of happy to see all of them leaving. Probably the most disappointing group we have ever had of senior players.  Anyways, feel free to add to this list if you hear anything.

Graduating or listed as a senior this year-

Chris Barr, DEFENSIVE BACK 5'10" 169 LBS

Khalid McGee,LINEBACKER 5'10" 213 LBS

Ryeshene Bronson, WIDE RECEIVER 6'3" 205 LBS

Tyre McCants, WIDE RECEIVER 5'11" 240 LBS

Jackson, Vincent , DEFENSIVE END 6'3" 250 LBS

Jaymon Thomas, SAFETY 6'3" 193 LBS

RONNIE HOGGINS, Cornerback

Mazzi Wilkins, CORNERBACK 6'0" 181 LBS

LADARION MCBRIDE, Wide Recier

Jeffery Farrar, DEFENSIVE BACK 5'11" 218 LBS

Davion Sutton, RUNNING BACK 6'0" 216 LBS

JAKE VIVONETTO, kicker

Josh Black, LINEBACKER 6'2" 252 LBS

Eric Mayes, OFFENSIVE LINE 6'4" 295 LBS

Juwuan Brown, DEFENSIVE END 6'2" 261 LBS

Marquies Price, DEFENSIVE END 6'6" 257 LBS

Kevin Bronson, DEFENSIVE END 6'4" 282 LBS

Transferring out

1.       Brett Kean

2.       Brandon Boyce

3.       Naytron Culpepper

4.       Grant Polk

5.       Sawtelle (medical casualty from what I read in another post)

Possibly leaving

1.       Mitchell Wilcox (NFL

Staff –

1.       Gilbert

2.       Mattox

Outside of transfers in like BB, I am going to say anyone if not nearly all of the junior class. Maybe a few sophomores like Oladokun or K Johnson.

I like discipline as much as anyone but Strong seems to be over the top ridiculous.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
