In 9 full seasons 6 of them have been 7 wins or less. In his three good seasons (two of which he lost the division to Cent FL) the SOS was bad to horrendous.

This is a decade long sample size at this point.

We could be in a lot of trouble for the foreseeable future.

It's easy really.  If he has a dynamic QB that can take over games (Bridgewater or Flowers) his teams excel.  Otherwise his play not to lose mentality leads to mediocrity.

Heres to  Battle being the next Bridgewater or Flowers

Battle did not even suite up...the other freshman did. If you are hoping for Battle he has a long ways to go.

Yep, McLoud was there and seems to be next in line

how long has he be wearing that same white surrender turtleneck shirt/pullover to our games? It has ONE very smallish USF logo and if he worked at Chotchke's he would be 14 pieces of flair short of the minimum. Not even a hat!

We're not in Kansas anymore

Indeed

Battle #16 was suited up.  I was 5 rows behind the USF bench.  Was hoping he’d see some action in the 2nd half.  If nothing else let him run wildcat

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
