We had already started to emerge from that four-decade hibernation two years previously but someone didn't have the patience to see if we were fully awake or not and put us back into a deep sleep. Hopefully a lesson was learned ...

It was the correct call kicking the field goal. It cuts the lead to 18 and you get the ball to start the 2nd half with a chance to make it 28-17. Too early in the game to not take the points.

I’m not arguing about the fg but not knowing the score is not good for any coach.

I can honestly say, I think he’s on par with Skippy... no team has ever started 7-0 then lost 6 straight... that is absolutely mind boggling bad

If he isn't fired then I know USF isn't serious about being a winning program.  We all know Strong is about to take this team down the toilet he needs no more time here.  Team is getting worse and will only continue next season...we have seen zero improvement all season...only gotten worse.

Maybe the worst Bulls defense ever put on the field. Couldn’t stop the run game all year. Offense wasn’t much better. As far firing Coach Strong there is an article on S B Nation that is an interesting read on letting him go before the end of the year.

After Leavitt won his lawsuit and proved he was not at fault, I find it hard to agree-they got rid of the golden goose.
