Exactly. If you're going to play on a mediocre team, why not do it with a boatload of ancillary benefits?

As of late....but the past 2 seasons before were 10 win seasons. I dont think I've ever seen Minnesota win more than 8 games in a season. Hell I remember when they lost to FAU. This is our first average year in 2 years. Such short memory our fans have I see. The same 6-6 team that lost to Illinois this year? At least we were ranked a majority of the past 2 years and a small part of this year. In the end, he simply wanted to play for a P5 school no matter how garbage the program is.

Maybe it's because Minnesota's DB coach is from Valrico and he turned him?

Nope. Just think it is odd to have multiple offers and commit to a school you didn't even visit.
