At 17-7, after only 2 years, there's no way he should start season there. How the season the plays out determines if he earns his way on a list....

Not so far fetched for a portion of TBP ..... common sense prevails pretty much everywhere else under these circumstances.

Right, coaches finish the regular season on a 5 game losing streak and never feel any heat at all any where but Tampa ..... 🙄

Gus Malzahn is 52- 27 at Auburn (17-9 over last 2 years) and saw his name is on that list ...... **** TBP

These circumstances = On a 5 game losing streak after only their second year, 10 games over .500 .... If there have been some coaches out there,  under those circumstances, with a portion of their fan base going bat **** crazy, feel free to enlighten me. My guess is they are few and far between but I could be wrong ....

lol, does it have to be an even year and the coach have to come from Texas in his previous gig too?

Malzahn has finished .500 or worse in 3 of his 6 seasons in SEC play and has one bowl win to his credit. That's not gonna cut it at a school that expects to compete to national championships and Alabama. Also the key here is, Malzahn has been given six seasons to be evaluated on, not 2.
