Collins should not have cut his hair...

Should've read page 3 before skipping to 5. Beat me to it.

Our crappy free throw shooting will cost us many games this season

They were 9/10 and then Yetna and Collins   went to work ....... even at that though, DC once again sinks 2 clutch ones when it was really needed.

Didn't do that against Georgetown...

That's one game, and they've salted away some games with ft shooting ..... Hell, I just hope that there a lot of games in conference that come down to ft's at the end. That would be a good sign.

True, but our conference slate is closer to Georgetown than the rest of our OOC slate.

To a point...we have a chance to sweep Tulane and ECU. We have a good chance to split with Temple and Tulsa. On top of that we should get one significant conference upset. Assuming we make up the  Charlotte game we could be looking at 17 wins going into the conference tourney. Now all of that is saying IF everything breaks perfectly which it probably won’t but I am glad I can feel now feel comfortable just writing those above sentences.

Team looked good today.  I take full responsibility for the FT's.  When we were 9/10 I turned to my wife and said Wow shooting 90% free throws, then it all went south.  Very true this team will live and die on free throws this year.

Its an impressive win considering Collins played his worse game he'll play all season. Beating the same team that returned everybody that help annihilate USF last season was very satisfying. This game really showed how far this program has under Gregory in a short time.

I feel this team will be NIT minimum.
