Mine went to a couple while they were younger, but now it is a little more difficult with what they are involved with. It's tough for me as well since I coach my sons hockey team.

Anytime, USF is playing UF, FSU or Miami it is giving us the games fans want.

Somewhat to a lesser extent, I would enjoy more scheduling with Auburn, Alabama, GT, Georgia, LSU, South Carolina and Clemson.

Pay game, 2 for 1, I don't really care. I would much rather do that than have a 1 and 1 with Illinois or Syracuse.

+1

I dont have aproblem with scghedulung 2-1 with certain schools. There are schools that because of fan following are NOT gioing to give you a 1-1 and you gain by beating them so you must play them away or at best 2-1. FSU and UM built up their reputation by playing many of those schools away or in uneven home-away deals.

I would say:

Clemson and FSU in the ACC

Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan in Big Ten

Texas and Oklahoma in Big 12

USC in Pac

Alabama,Auburn, LSU, Texas AM,LSU, Florida and Georgia in SEC- Maybe Tennessee

Notre Dame as an Indy

Those schools really have NOTHING to gain from playing USF or UCF on a 1-1 deal even if our schools were top 10. It is USF and UCF who NEED to play them to get more national attention.

So Im fine with the UF 2-1 deal, but the Louisville 2-1 was NOT a good deal.

I agree with your point about top P5 schools having no incentive to play us, but the thought of playing Alabama, Clemson or Oklahoma 3 times is horrifying. Any one of those schools would likely mop the floor with us 3 times. However, I'd happily take a 2-1 with some mid-tier P5 schools like Texas A&M, Penn State, and Tennessee.

2-1 with reputable P5 schools certainly beats another season of UMass, Illinois and GT; yeah, Illinois and GT are P5, but they don't represent the strength of the P5 anymore than UConn represents the strength of the AAC.

Unless we're losing money on the Louisville series, I don't understand this not being a good deal stuff ..... any more than I understand lumping Illinois and GT with UMass as undesirable ooc games. You've got 4 ooc games every year to schedule and it'd be great for all 4 to be high profile P5's but that's not reality. I think the Illinois, GT and Louisville scheduling is just fine no matter where the games are being played.

I have no problem with the Georgia Tech or Illinois deal. My point is that Louisville is a school that we should be doing 1-1 deals with . They don’t have the stature nor the draw to get a 2-1 deal

The uf deal I have no problem with. They were never giving us a 1-1. This was the only way to get them here. Same with the Texas series.

The Louisville 2-1 is one of the worst moves I have ever seen our ad make. Already terrible and made much worse when ucf got a 1-1 with them.

We have the most aggressive out of conference schedule in the AAC.
