We could have three new coaches on next year’s schedule.

Doesn’t want to pull at CWT and take a P5 job just to take another one in a year or two.  He’s done a great job at UNT and will wait until he gets an opportunity that he feels is worth jumping to (possibly Indiana next year)

I realize you're just quoting a tweet but while Bill Snyder did an awesome job at K State, the last 6 years have been pretty mediocre and he only won the conference twice in 400 years there.

Even if they were the worst program ever before him, fans are fickle these days.

Good thing for us is that mediocre coaches don't get job offers.  CCS isn't going anywhere.

Yeah he did little in his return to KState. I think they wanted to move now as KU has Les Miles and they need a big hire to keep up.

But it will only take him one year of success and some Pee 5 program will go after him.

I remember when we though Barnett and CCS were goners after this year.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
