I was given a ticket. stuffed it in my glove box and forgot all about it. they issued a bench warrant. I obviously didn't show. Bottom line, he was given a chance to just come to court and resolve the driving issue. He didn't show so now it is a bigger deal. Probably would have just gotten a fine if he had showed.
