semantics. you and triple b all over it

it's dumb to put people in JAIL over unpaid traffic tickets.

So then why should anyone ever pay a parking ticket? Is it ok if they don't pay two parking tickets? Three? How many freebies do you get?

I mean, if they take my license, **** em. I'll just drive without one since you can't put me in jail for that, either.

I just want to point out too, traffic tickets isn't the only reason why someone would have their license suspended. I have no knowledge about this case.

sounds good to me.

parking tickets should be a civil violation. the property owner where a car has parked without authorization can file a claim in court for redress. ignore the summons, claimant gets a default judgement, the fees are garnished from wages.

NOT. WORTH. LOSING. FREEDOM.

certainly not but they won't just suspend your license for a violent felony which is what Jail/prison should be used for.

Please... no knowledge of things is where TBP shines.

I just wanted to say I wasn't implying our player did something else wrong (like unpaid child support). I don't have any idea why his license was suspended.

He was released on his own and given a written promise to appear to answer to the charges.  He didn't appear so that is why a warrant was issued and now he is taken to jail so he can answer to charges.  He may be able to bail out.   Bottom line, he was given a chance to just come to court and resolve the driving issue.  He didn't show so now it is a bigger deal.  Probably would have just gotten a fine if he had showed.
