Isn't that what a Bowl game wants to do? I agree. I know Joey is set on us going to the Cure but Tampa makes way more sense from a marketing standpoint Edited November 29, 2018 by jjlovecub

Isn't that what a Bowl game wants to do? I think the USF side is cool with it. Not sure about Miami and the ACC. Personally, I think both sides should want it. On Miami's end - 1. USF is an easy opponent 2. Gasparilla is not far from Miami 3. They get to come to our area for recruiting. On USF's end - 1. Gasparilla bowl requires no kind of long distance travel 2. We will be playing in front of many of Miami's recruits that they will invite to the game. 3. It's a P5 team that we actually have a chance to beat I probably just jinxed it by talking about it, but it would be a nice way to end the year....especially if we actually win. If Gilbert is playcalling I’ll say we get shut out.

We might not get 100 yards of offense against Miami with Gilbert calling plays.

Remember we were saving plays for UCF. Since we still saved them, we have a month to develop a 3rd play.
