But I’ll say it. What they have done is remarkable. To go two years without losing a game in today’s football world is noteworthy. In terms of playoffs, it is a tough call and I can see arguments going both ways but let this be a lesson. No G5 team will EVER make the playoffs in the current set up. Further, a six team playoff will not do it. Eight will not do it (unless a G5 school goes undefeated two years in a row and let’s be honest that will occur once every fifty years)The only way is to have a guaranteed G5 team. When that happens, most of us on this board will be long gone. Now, all that being said I do believe ucf deserves its playoff shot this year. Tell them to put their money where their mouths are. It should be no problem since these top G5 schools are so inferior and now the G5 schools have a shot at proving themselves on the field instead of talking heads using "eye tests" and spread sheets in a board room Edited December 2, 2018 by chapelbull

So, if your HS team in any sport is anything less that 6A or the highest level your achievements are meaningless and hollow. That’s a ridiculous argument. No, they play in the tournament for their division. The G5 can start their own tournament in they want one. My son plays 5A, they don't whine and complain about 6A. Or worse, declare themselves champions of 6A although they don't play in 6A. That, my friend, would be ridiculous.

They honestly don't care if UCF wins 20 straight games or closes its program. They don't care. Why should they? Hence why many decry this conference and the whole fake P6 crap and the fake UCF Nat Champs silliness. It's all a desperate attempt to use some sophomoric reasoning on why the AAC or UCF matters when neither does.
