Spoken like a true ESPN analyst. It's amazing how effective their dribble is that you actually believe that. Then again, if usf actually ran the table two years in a row - you absolutely would not be saying that.

and we were 2 games off from running the table last year... if we had Taggart another year with his senior recruit Flowers, we would have went for it all.

It's is ALL just opinion ..... I'll repeat his question, in YOUR opinion, who should they replace in the playoff and why? That's the crux of the conversation here.

I guess UCF should replace Oklahoma and there will be 4 undefeated teams in the playoff.

I have no idea how Cincinnati isn't considered a top 25 at 10-2 with their only losses coming in overtime, and to 2 straight years undefeated UCF. They have been putting teams out pretty consistently as well

Because they're not P5.  Gotta go undefeated or else a 3 loss SEC team might get left out.  Can't have that .....

I really would place UCF over Oklahoma this year, only because UCF went undefeated last year also and beat Auburn. Winning all your games 2 years in a row, including beating a NY6 team that was deemed too good for them is so impressive, and criminal to ignore. I'm sure you can argue that their schedule is weak, but if you are going by most deserving, they are bar none, the most deserving team in all of college football.

SEC commish speaks out:

http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/25471482/sec-commissioner-greg-sankey-says-ucf-knights-fix-strength-schedule-issue

Southeastern Conference commissioner Greg Sankey on Thursday said UCF should look "inward" to address the strength of schedule issues that have held back the Knights in the College Football Playoff rankings.

Great idea Commish.  How about your top teams start scheduling the ucfs, USFs, Houstons, Boise States, etc.  every year instead of the Citadel, Charleston Southern, etc. so they can build that resume then?  or expand to 8 and give them a seat every year.

Has the UCF AD changed his stance about not doing 1 and done away pay games?

I assume you meant most deserving team in all of college football not in the playoffs. And the playoffs aren't some sort of lifetime achievement award so last year should have zero bearing on this year .... and anyway, the debate about the worth of their post season exhibition game win last year has already been waged.

Maybe a Kanigit will let us know. If he hasn't, that's maybe the "look inward" the SEC commish was referring to when talking about their weak scheduling ...

Here's your answer @Triple B:

"I'm encouraged to hear that UF is open to the idea of playing us in football," White said in the statement, according to the Orlando Sentinel. "Since I've been here, it had been made clear to me there wasn't much hope of that. Our scheduling philosophy has been transparent since I arrived at UCF -- that we're open to a home-and-home series with any nonconference Power 6 opponent.

"Top-10 programs don't schedule two-for-one series where the balance is not in their favor. Our growing fan base and our student-athletes deserve better than that."
