Not going to beat teams giving up that amount of threes. The Citadel game was lost because of it.

Teams are also very confident playing at USF because there is never a home court advantage. It's truly like shooting in practice for opposing teams sometimes. Maybe one day USF will benefit from playing at home. Would like that automatic 10 point advantage.

For sure, but they'll have to earn it. For those that remember, the Sun Dome is a BIG home court advantage when it's rocking.

In our rare NCAA Tourney years we had a guy who sacrificed offense and was the dedicated defensive stopper on the other team's best scorer: Bobby Russell during the Paschal years and Hugh Robertson for Heath. We could use another guy like that. Every game, we have a dude on the other team post a career high.

Robertson was a beast...could have started for our FB team.

He was tough. Wonder if any kid these days would be willing to take on that kind of role. You have to check your ego and just grind every possession. Those guys did that and they were so valuable - with no headlines.

Robertson was a huge part of our success on the defensive side but I feel the whole team bought in to keep us defending at such a high level. In our first games of the season, I thought this team had the same thing going. Our defense has been very different in the games since coming back from Jamaica.

If you USF losing this game that would already be their 3rd lost in non conference play with games at Charlotte and FIU. I had them going 10-3 in non conference and winning 5 league games that would give USF a 15 win season. Bulls got to step it up.
